I was born in West Los Angeles and raised in Santa Monica. Santa Monica is a coastal city west of downtown Los Angeles. The city was radically diverse, and it was the greatest place to live from the 70s to 90s. It was the multicultural and multiethnic city. It was filled with various cultures and activities such as surfing, skating, punk, art, neighborhoods, and lowriding. Those cultures have become a “Southern California” lifestyle finally. It was a great time, especially for the exploration of the brand experience development.
I have worked with Supermax, Not Guilty, Joker Brand, Por Vida, Famous Stars & Straps, The Hundreds, Young & Reckless, Rich Hilfiger, Vibes, and Cookies. Supermax, a brand I started in 1991 with Estevan Oriol & Cartoon and financed by Mark Fox.

Lastly, I am planning to represent real stories about Los Angeles to the world through my brand, film and documentary with building on my vision for Supermax. Additionally, two documentaries about gangs and the lowrider culture of LA release on 2021. I’m working closely with Estevan Oriol on some of these projects. I’m also developing a TV show. I hope to be pitching to Network in January of 2021.
Supermax Hardware will be heavily involved in all media platforms. We also have a lot of great projects for our community and youth in West Los Angeles. All projects I’m involved with have contributions and funds going to multiple community efforts to help the kids and the communities that I come from.
Exciting times coming up!!
Thanks, Steven “LUCKY” Luciano
